Hello!
Most likely, NetXMS server does not have a seed device, i.e. device
which is connected to the subnet in question and is manageable. To
simplify this, I suggest to upgrade to new version - 0.2.14, and enable
active discovery for this subnet. You can do this via Control
Panel->Network Discovery - select "Active and passive" discovery mode,
and on Active Discovery Targets tab, enter your test subnet. This should
instruct NetXMS to check every IP address in subnet and add nodes which
passes filter script to the system. You can also look for SYS_NODE_ADDED
events to see when new node is added, or add a rule to event policy to
show an alarm for every added node.
Best regards,
Victor
