When using the NETXMS client it would be really good if it could handle a drop in connection especially when running it remotely across a VPN or when switching the client device from LAN to WIFI

Plus one on this, even the web version is quite sensitive to connectivity.

Also would like to see something here.  Example when upgrading the server and it disconnects the clients.  Would be great to have a tickbox option to 'try reconnect' and have a 5/10sec countdown a bit like the windows RDP client does when it gets disconnected.

We have this planned for 5.0.
