hi victor,

i have discovered my dell power connect with the driver and i saw that the 10gb ports which are stack ports are in an unknown state.

Either bug, or switch really does not provide state for these ports. Can you do nxsnmpwalk on .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2 and send output to me?

Hi!

Switch reports interface operational status as 2 (down) for 2 of them and 6 (notPresent) for other two on each unit. NetXMS server translates "notPresent" state into UNKNOWN status, this is why you see some of 10G interfaces as unknown. It's a question if this is a correct interpretation of interface state, or it should be translated into CRITICAL status, as for DOWN state.

Best regards,
Victor

hi victor,

i looked at the switches and i found that there is a difference between stack ports an 10gb ports.
there are module sockets for either 10gb uplink or stack ports and the module attached is for stack ports therefor the status indication of the switches are correct.
i was not familiar with this configuration which is different from cisco, hence my mistake
