Hi,
i use a Server 2008 R2 an a SQL 2007SP2 E Server
i got evrytime the Error at the end of the Configuration Cant connect to SQL Server
i use Windows Authentication and have DBA Rights i connect with an SQL ALIAS, this SQL ALIAS is Correct configuratet course a Sharepoint Farm coud connect.

Hi!

Try to use SQL server authentication and ODBC driver. MSSQL driver uses very old and outdated client library, which may now work as expected on WIndows Server 2008.
