Title: Cant open die NETXMS Console or Client
Post by: heizeberg on March 20, 2015, 01:00:03 PM
Hello,

i installed the netxms server on a windows 2008 r2 64 bit
I can connect via web interface, but not with the console or client.

If i start the NetXMS Console: The Nxms executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared libary.

An Idea ?

Hi!

Do you run console ob the server or on your workstation? Do you have java runtime installed (you need JRE 7 or higher, 64 bit if you are using 64 bit console).

Best regards,
Victor

Hello,

at first thank you my server is running.
I have two more questions.

Where i can change the Ip adress of the NETXMS Server ? At the moment i connect via localhost

Which options i have with printers ?
Can i monitor some options like printer jame, paper number or the state of the toner ?
Or only basic options if the printer is running ?

Best regards

It depends on what the printer can do, and what kind of data the printer provides over SNMP.

We monitor all supply levels on our printers (toner, fuser, transfer kit, etc...) - these are higher model HP LaserJets.

you mean in web UI? In desktop console you just type server DNS name or IP address in login dialog.
