Post by: Dariusk on July 04, 2011, 11:04:58 AM
Hello People,

I just recently started using NetXMS. but i have a problem with the managment console, every time i try to go back on charts with a period of 1 month or 1 week the managment console crashes, my screen goes black, and my client computer restarts.

I am using java 5 Update 26
Windows XP SP3 client pc
Ubuntu 11.04 serverfor netxmsd, Geust on VMware ESX.
NetXMSd 1.1.1
Managment Console 1.0.11

did an update to 1.1.2, copied the .zip file to program files. but it says server had incompatibe communication protocol. dont really want to update the server right now.

tried uninstalling and reinstalling 1.0.11 but stil same problem

Hi!

What console crashes, legacy or java? For both, you can download version 1.1.1 from https://www.netxms.org/download/archive/ (https://www.netxms.org/download/archive/).

Best regards,
Victor

Thanks for the fast reply.  :D

This didnt resolve the problem. I still get a system failure when trying to go back 1 month. 1 week doesnt seem to give an error. is where a way where i can get a complete clean install? i tried uninstalling the netXMS console deleting "Application data" and reinstalling, but it remembered my login credentials. also is there a way to let the managment console create a debug log of some sort?

I am using the Legacy version.

Edit: It looks like the graphic card drivers are the problem. when i delete the Ati Radeon HD 4200 Integrated Drivers the problem seems to be resolved. once i install it the problem returns.

any idea's?
