Title: Dashbaord internet usage.
Post by: orddie on January 08, 2014, 03:04:25 AM
Hey All,

Im having an issue with a bandwidth dashboard graph.  It's blank!  can you help me out?  When i look at the perforumance tab for the node, i do see a separate graph. Looks like I am having an issue when I combine the two together.

Check that you have data for both DCIs (inbound / outbound traffic) on "gw...": select "Object Details" -> Last Values -> right click on item and select "History". Make sure that timestamp is correct.

From screenshot it looks like chart for 1 minute (19:54:50 to 19:55:50). Is it really what you want to display? If yes, are you sure you collect data often enough?

Best regards,
Victor

Hi!

Yes everything matches.  Im asking the router for data every 60 seconds.  I have the graph refreshing data every 60 seconds as well with a 60 second interval.

looking at the data collected from the router, it's happening every minute.

when i did a object view --> perforumance view...  i notice the graph there was every 10 minutes.  changing the dashboard to view every 10 is now showing data.  this work i guess...  but if im collecting every minute...  why can I not get up to the minute data?

When you set time interval in dashboard graph properties, if it's set to "1 minute" it means "for last one minute", not "every minute". If you had setting like this, then you actually request data for last one minute, and collecting data once per minute you only got one data point in that interval - so no line was drawn.
