Title: fake object details
Post by: lindeamon on March 30, 2014, 12:14:12 PM
hi victor,

i have configured a container with a filter script that binds nodes containing agents.
i see there 3 nodes that i know they do not have agents installed. one of the nodes is a node with duplicate node and i see that this node which is the original one has "platform name" and "system description" of the netxms server which runs on linux.
the rest of the nodes does not have a duplicate node but again, the details are of the netxms server and this nodes are snmp enabled.

Best Regards,
Lindeamon

Hi!

Usually this can happen when connecting to address given as node's primary IP address actually ends up on NetXMS server's loopback interface. Can you check this with command line tools (for example, use nxsnmpwalk on problematic node's IP address and see what data you'll get)?

Best regards,
Victor
