Title: Going back in graph for a week or more gives timeout
Post by: possamai on March 13, 2010, 05:02:05 AM
This has been an issue since the first time I used NetXMS

I fetchbandwidth data through snmp from my router every 10 seconds and it's set to keep the data for 30 days.
Now, besides growing my database this shouldn't really have a huge impact I suppose,
but when I (try to) show a graph for a week or more it gives a timeout..
Error message:
QuoteUnable to retrieve colected data: Request timed out
(No I did not type that wrong, there's a typo in the error message  ;D "colected" = "collected")

Using netXMS on FreeBSD 7 with MySQL 5.1

Hi,

I used to have the same behaviour.
But now with r1.0.0-rc2 it seems to have disappeared.

Do you run that latest release as well?

Hi have similar issue. Upgraded to latest release and still have the same issue.

Mine is 1 month stats (every 30 second). Using MSSQL database on Windows 2003 SP1

If I choose 14 days, it's ok.

Let's summarize in what environment this problem occurs in version 1.0.3:
1. Windows + MS SQL
2. FreeBSD with MySQL 5.1 (is it still an issue?)

any other environments?

Best regards,
Victor
