I apologize in advance if this topic has been covered before or is clearly outlined in the documentation.
I've noticed that there is a difference in how maps are rendered between the Windows version of the NXMC client and the .jar client running on macOS and Linux. It appears that Windows prefers to render the text of the nodes on a map using black as the default color, but the .jar client (on macOS and Linux, at least -- haven't tried running .jar on Windows) renders the text in white. This is making it hard to chose a background color that is legible on all versions of the client.
I know it's possible to change the global default value of the background color for the maps, but I can't seem to find a way to configure the node text color on the maps either independently or globally.
Am I being obtuse and missing something obvious? Thank you for your consideration.
Hi, we have checked .jar client on Ubuntu and Redhat and those seem to match maps text colour in the standard client for Windows; all those are black. Could you please let us know what flavor Linux you are using and which client version? Does Restore Defaults button help at all?
