Post by: gnome604 on March 05, 2013, 10:16:23 AM
Hello, since i can't find anything on the internet about it i have to ask it:

what are the extra software packages i have to install before installing netxms?

so far i installed the following: gcc, build-essential, mysql-server, mysql-client, libmysqlclient-dev, tomcat6, ttf-dejavu
i am using a clean install of ubuntu server with open ssh.

Hi!

You may need libssl-dev if you want encryption support. Otherwise it should be ok.

You can also try to install from Debian packages - most likely it will work on Ubuntu.

Best regards,
