Hi,
For some reason i can not install management console on my mac (10.8.5).
Downloaded multiple times. Every time after installation I get an error that application is corrupted and should be moved to trash.
The previous version 1.2.8 runs fine, but can not connect to the server (which 1.2.9) - communication protocol error.
Is there anyone else experiencing similar problem?
Regards
Aram
I just tried on my laptop (1.8.5 with all updates, including recent Java update) – it works fine.
I used this image: https://www.netxms.org/download/nxmc/nxmc-1.2.9.dmg
File size: 29178676 bytes.
SHA1 hash of the file is b77ac923f46a16994e318cf51bf67a2c2686b130 (to check, open Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal, type "openssl sha1 ", drag nxmc-1.2.9.dmg to Terminal and press "enter")
You getting this error while trying to mount dmg file, at "Verify" stage — or it's after you drag "NetXMS Console.app" to Applications?
Just to be sure, I repacked dmg file, please try this one: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9rd0e164d9e60rf/nxmc-1.2.9.dmg
Hi,
Thanks for quick reply.
Tried the dmg files from both links (they have different sha1 hash).
DMG package mounts ok. I can copy the app to application folder. After I run "NetXMS Console.app" I get @"NetXMS Console" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash.@
I have the exact same symptom as saa85 on my Mac.
I have tried it on a 10.8.5 and today with 10.9. Same problem.
If you really need NetXMS Console version 1.2.9 a temporary solution could be to:
1. Download https://www.netxms.org/download/nxmc/nxmc-1.2.9-macosx-cocoa-x64.tar.gz (https://www.netxms.org/download/nxmc/nxmc-1.2.9-macosx-cocoa-x64.tar.gz) and extract the tar-archive.
2. Open a Terminal and navigate to the extracted folder.
3. Make the "nxmc" program executable. chmod +x nxmc.app/Contents/MacOS/nxmc
4. It should now be possible to start the application.
It seems to be related to Apple's Gatekeeper: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5290
I'll try to replicate it on my systems

Indeed. I had the same problem. Turning off Gatekeeper did work. It's fine as a temporary work-around, but a real fix would be appreciated.

Thanks. works now.
Could you please try this version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wmwq997zlny55nk/nxmc-1.2.10.dmg?
This build is signed with proper keys from Apple, so it should work properly with Gatekeeper enabled.
Please note: it's built from from latest sources and incompatible with 1.2.9, so don't overwrite your existing app.

I can confirm that this version starts without any issues when the setting for "
Allow apps downloaded from" is set to: "
Mac App store and identified developers" under
Security & Privacy.
