Title: Multiple interfaces, same subnets
Post by: xenth on April 08, 2008, 10:58:37 AM
In my LAN there are a lot of devices with the IP 192.168.70.*

Now when I add another node through internet or VPN, that node also uses 192.168.70.* range on their internal network interface. Now when I add this node, turn off automatic configuration polling, and delete all the interfaces but the one I want to monitor, netXMS has already placed the interface with 192.168.100.* in my internal network "group".

Is there any way to stop this from happening? This is a pretty big problem unfortunately.  :-[

There is no way to avoid this in current version. I have to think about some mechanism to prevent this and implement it in future release.

Best regards,
Victor
