Title: Multiple snmp communities in same node
Post by: mbou on April 16, 2014, 10:46:28 PM
Dear All,

I posted the following feature request: https://www.netxms.org/forum/feature-requests/multiple-snmp-communities-in-same-node/ (https://www.netxms.org/forum/feature-requests/multiple-snmp-communities-in-same-node/), but in the meanwhile I would like to know if anybody did solve this challenge somehow:

Is it possible to configure more than one SNMP community per node?

Thanks for your inputs.

Best regards,
mbou

Only one thing I can suppose - get router, set couple ip adresses on it and configure reverse NAT.
After that configure in netxms node objects on nat ip with different communities.

Thank you Andrey for your answer.
Unfortunately, this is not possible for me as my setup is part of a corporate network where restrictions apply ;)

Thus, the solution must be within NetXMS product.

Any other solution would be appreciated?
