Hi, does NETXMS support sending encrypted emails on port 587 rather than the non encrypted SMTP port 25? I changed my config to port 587 and emails wouldn't send.

No, currently not. You need to use for email forwarder like postfix.

SMTP Authentication was added in 4.3, so now it should work without email forwarder. Please see updated documentation: https://www.netxms.org/documentation/adminguide/event-processing.html#notification-channels
