Title: NetXMS Management Client / Infrastructure View
Post by: arn0664 on June 17, 2024, 02:32:24 PM
Hi,

I have a question belonging to the NetXMS management client (and the legacy client) - NetXMS-Version 4.5.5:

In the legacy client we use the "Infrastructure Services" to create containers (representing a location) and in the conatainer we bind subnets to visualize the hosts in these subnets.
So under "Infrastructure Services" we can visualize subnets and their contents.

In the new "NetXMS Management Client" obviously in the Infrastructure-View the subnets under a container are not displayed.

Is there some configuration needed to display subnets under conainers or must I use auto-binding rules in the container properties ?

It would be no problem for me to use the legacy client in the future but it seems that it has some problems with maps ( https://www.netxms.org/forum/general-support/netxms-management-console-zoom-bug/ ) and that will not be fixed...

Best regards,

Thomas

Ability to bind subnets to containers is a rarely used thing and was forgotten when features were moved to the new client. I'll get back when I have some information from developers on this.
