Title: netxms on mssql 2014
Post by: rameshpavaluri on July 10, 2018, 01:00:28 PM
Hi Victor,

I have installed NETXMS on SQLserver 2014 and noticed NETXMS is not stable and could not scan the complete network and some times the switches are missing under discovery.

I'm  using NETXMS 2.2.6 version , what is your suggestion on SQL server to be used

Regards
Ramesh

Hi,

why do you think that SQL server is an issue? Could you describe your problem in more details?

Best regards,
Victor

Hi,

"connection error" most likely means that server was not started. Check that "NetXMS COre" service is started. If not, set logging to file and set debug level to 9, then try to start it again, and if it fails, post there log from service startup.

Best regards,
Victor

Hi,

what Java version you are using? If it is 6 or 7, try to upgrade to Java 8.

Victor

Hi,

seems to be packaging error then. Btw, it could be the reason for incorrect map display mentioned in other topic. We will fix it in upcoming 2.2.8 version (to be released within next few days).

Best regards,
Victor
