Title: Predefined graph names do not match window names
Post by: xenth on May 08, 2008, 04:05:31 PM
I open a predefined graph named " ServerBLABLA - CPU - LOAD" yet the window title gets a name from a different predefined graph "SERVERBLABLA - HDD - FREE SPACE" for example.

The data in the predefined graph however is correct.

This is a consistent problem which is happening every time I try it, and with every predefined graph I have.
If it's not clear what I mean I'll add a screenshot.

 :D Here's what I mean:

The predefined graph I open under: Tools -> Graphs

When I click this graph, the graph gets this title (it's from another predefined graph)

The graph data however is correct, it's just the window title that's giving me the problem.

Is this correct behavior or is it a bug?

When you save graph as predefined, systems saves current graph window title, whatever it is. It does not relate to menu item name. If you create multiple graphs by changing DCIs and saving them under different names, you can get this behaviour. However, it should be considered a bug, because it's not correct - there should be at least prompt for graph window title when it saved as predefined. I will register this as a bug in our bug tracking system.

Best regards,
Victor
