Title: Raise alarm after XX minutes
Post by: [email protected] on September 27, 2013, 04:47:47 PM
Hi guys,

I've downloaded Netxms and I am searching how to configure different time values before a specific node raises an alarm. For example :
- node1 should raise an alarm after 2 minutes of downtime
- node2 should raise an alarm after 15 minutes of downtime

How can we do that in Netxms ? I've found the condition section which seems to be used for that kind of cases yet I do not find a way to specify the time value and how to then associate it to the node.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, you must configure it on "interface" of host. If your host have interface "Local Network", click right button on interface/properties/polling/polling count. If the polling of host it´s 1 minute and you configure 5 polling, will raise alarm at 5 minutes.

Greetings.

Hi,

Thanks for the prompt reply. I see only one value for the required poll count. Is there a way to use two different values for the UP and DOWN alarm ?

Example, when node or interface stops replying requests alarm is generated after 5 poll count but if interface node comes back on it instantly generates the UP alarm ?

Thanks.
