Title: Unknown Interface problem
Post by: Santosh Khanna on November 30, 2013, 12:16:54 PM
I have installed windows netxms on one of the machine which is connected to a VLAN port on a switch.

The port is directly on WAN network. I have to monitor the servers on WAN.

But Though I am able to ping the WAN nodes. Netxms still showing Interface Unknown ? why ?

How to resolve it?

"unknown" interface is a pseudo interface object which is created when NetXMS server cannot get interface list from node either by SNMP or from NetXMS agent. Ensure that node is responding by SNMP or that NetXMS agent is installed.
