Title: Where is the configuration file?
Post by: minessio on October 03, 2007, 03:59:24 PM
Hi all,

thanks in advance for any help and suggestion. I'v installed netxms-0.2.19 on my ubuntu box --with-agent and mysql following the INSTALL file instructions. All right but where is the conf file in the step number 6?

  6. Copy default netxms daemon configuration file ('netxmsd.conf-dist') to /etc
directory with name 'netxmsd.conf' and edit it to match actual settings.
You can do it like this:
     cp ./netxmsd.conf-dist /etc/netxmsd.conf
     vi /etc/netxmsd.conf

You can take these files from daily snapshot

Here is a download link: https://www.netxms.org/download/netxms-cvs.tar.gz (https://www.netxms.org/download/netxms-cvs.tar.gz)

They should be are in the "contrib" folder, but looks like latest release was packaged incorrectly.
I've fixed it in CVS, so next release will be fine.

But as for now — I put sample configs on the web so you can download them:
