Hi,

I have a lot of "Communication session broken" warning messages in the event log of one of my servers. It seems a quite old problems that should be already solved:

https://www.netxms.org/forum/general-support/netxms-agent-win32-agent-generating-event-saying-communication-session-broken/msg3662/#msg3662

Am I doing something wrong to generate the warning?

Best regards,
Marco

Hi,

do you have something related to that server in netxmsd log file?

Hi,

Is that a log file related to the agent running on that machine? I have no log file in the folder installed on that server, I guess is due this parameter:

LogFile = {syslog}

in the agent config file. I changed it to a valid filename, I guess that should help. Am I right?

Hi,

I mean NetXMS server log file. Check that NetXMS server log goes to file and set debug level to 5 or 6, then try to find records related to remote agent for approximately same time when connection broken messages pops up.

Hi,

It looks like we have same problem https://www.netxms.org/forum/general-support/communication-session-broken-3221/ did you find any solution ? It is caused during client polls. I disabled Netxms agent polls and no more warnings in event viewers.

Thanks and regards,
MK

I did not have the problem anymore, I don't know the cause that make it appearing/disappearing. I'm monitoring the server, ready to check the NetXMS log, as per Victor's suggestion, in search of any hint.

so warnings from event viewer disappear itself ? you didn't change anything ?

The major change around that date was the install of an intermediate version of NetXMS sever (1.2.15-M1)
