Hello everybody,
I have used NetXMS for monitoring networkcomponents via SNMP so far.
Now my silly question:
I have some components that do not talk SNMP for which monitoring is limited to its accessibility by ping. How can I configure this in NetXMS? I wouldn't like to maintain a crontab in Linux if possible.

Hi,

It's quite easy, just add the devices as source objects to the built-in Event Processing Policy named "Show alarm when node is down".  Also, you will probably want to add them to the related policy named "Acknowledge node down alarm when node is up".
