Thanks for the update, the bug is now fixed in version 6.1.0.

Since version 6.0.0 of the Windows Agent, the software inventory is updated every time a user logs on to the client and then again when they log off.

The only difference in the list of installed software is that when a user is logged on, the user's name is displayed in the "User" column for many entries; when no user is logged on, this column is empty.

This behavior results in a large number of "SYS_PACKAGE_REMOVED" and "SYS_PACKAGE_INSTALLED" events.

Is this intended behavior?

I think yes, we will bring those back in a few days. Can you explain a use case for those? I'd think that nowadays agents mostly deployed from deb or rpm packages.

My firewall is based on a hardened Linux system that doesn't use any deb or rpm-based package management. It sounds great that you're planning to make a statically linked version available again; that saves me from having to set up a complete firewall development stack just to compile the agent as an add-on from source.

Thanks for this release, it's run fine in my network. Only for one system I need the generic 64bit static build agent ( nxagent-4.4.2-linux-x86_64-static.tar.gz ) which doesn't exists under https://netxms.org/download/releases/4.4/

Thanks for the work and this great software which makes my life as an admin easier.

i have these error after upgrading the netxms-release package on one of my servers, only the manually key update with apt-key fixed the problem on my system

find the key identifier

apt-key list

/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/netxms-keyring.gpg
-----------------------------------------
pub   4096R/CDFADDB1 2015-03-29 [verfällt: 2020-03-24]


update the key


apt-key adv --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys CDFADDB1

now apt-get update should work normaly
