General Support / No interface
April 26, 2018, 04:35:28 PM
HI all!

I have a device with lot of interfaces.
BUT, it has no .iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib-2.interfaces.ifNumber value. !!

So, the netxms does not enumerate the interfaces.
Is there any workaround to see all interface in netxms?

General Support / MIB explorer value table error
April 24, 2017, 12:35:33 AM
I found an bug in MIB explorer walk result table right click functions.

There are four different type of copy:  Copy, Name, Type, Value

The copied values are:

.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.10901 [.iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib-2.interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr] = Hex-STRING
.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.10901
.iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib-2.interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr
Hex-STRING

So there is no way to copy the Value
The original table looks like:
OID,"OID as text","Type","Value"
.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.10901,".iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib-2.interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr","Hex-STRING","EFM-NT A: NMS"

Netxms: Version 2.1-M2

Please correct it in the next release.

General Support / Re: Dynamic network map

No need to have multiple DCIs.

You can use a "Format" to format DCIs on maps.
In this case, format the DCIs attached to the link using '%*s', and it will be automatically formatted to K,M,G bps.

Thanks, you are great!!
Many thanks.

General Support / Dynamic network map
January 20, 2017, 05:22:27 PM
Hi

I would like to make a dynamic network map with a switch and a server. I draw a line between them.
I want to see the used bandwith or transmitted data.
I made what is written in the handbook (see attachment).

But, how can I make to see the throughput not in bps but kbs, Mbps etc ???

Please help me.

Thx
Boby

General Support / Interface list is missing
October 14, 2016, 06:02:11 PM
Hi

I have an Ulaf modem (ULAF+ ACCEED 1102 V2.10, Albis Technologies Ltd.  .1.3.6.1.4.1.1887.1.2.642)

With snmpwalk it has lot of interfaces, but ifNumber (.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.1) is missing.
So netxms does not create any interfaces.

What can I do to enumerate the interfaces ?

General Support / Custom map
October 20, 2015, 10:39:29 PM
Hi!

Netxms uses openstreetmap.
Is it possible to see on custom map (openstreetmap) the the nodes that have geolocation data ?

As I put the nodes on map, their geolocation data does not have any meaning, netxms put them just on the map somewhere.
It would be very goot if I could move on map like google earth.

September 02, 2015, 04:07:21 PM
Hi!

Is it possible to see in Object Details/Overview windows the

1.3.6.1.2.1.1.6 - sysLocation and
1.3.6.1.2.1.1.4 - sysContact

SNMP values ?

It would be very usefull to read them.

Thanks:

Hi!

Snmpwalk result at entPhysicalIndex - 1.3.6.1.2.1.47.1.1.1.1.1:  nothing !!!

but, at

entPhysicalDescr - 1.3.6.1.2.1.47.1.1.1.1.2:

-----SNMP query started-----
1: entPhysicalDescr.1000000 PARADYNE BitStorm 2600; 24 ADSL Annex A, Splitters, Universal AC, GigE uplink, stacking with 10/100 BT
2: entPhysicalDescr.1000001 PARADYNE BitStorm 2600; DSL Main Card
3: entPhysicalDescr.1000002 PARADYNE BitStorm 2600; Management Aggregation Uplink Interface (MAUI) Card
4: entPhysicalDescr.1000003 PARADYNE BitStorm 2600; POTS Splitter Child Card
5: entPhysicalDescr.1000051 PARADYNE BitStorm 2600; Intake Temperature Sensor
6: entPhysicalDescr.1000052 PARADYNE BitStorm 2600; Internal Temperature Sensor
7: entPhysicalDescr.1000061 PARADYNE BitStorm 2600; Fan Speed Sensor 1
8: entPhysicalDescr.1000062 PARADYNE BitStorm 2600; Fan Speed Sensor 2

.......

I think, the problem is the interface indexes are missing.
Hope, you can solve in future release, because this is not the one device with no result.

What can be the problem with switch port? At the port tab nothing shown.

Hi!

At Object details\Interface view you can see ifType 's numeric value.
It would be more useful to see it's string representation (RS232,ADSL, ISDN....)
IfSpeed is also useful parameter on this tab. Please think about it.

What is mandantory if I have a switch to see at Object detailt\Ports ?
The tab is exist but without data.

I have a DSLAM with entity-mib support. But I cannot see any data at Components tab.
What is mandantory for see Components tab element?

Thanks in advance.

General Support / Re: {instance-name}
June 30, 2015, 11:35:17 PM
It is strange, because I exported a template from 2M5.
I tried to use it in 2M2, but the instance-name returned nothing. In 2M5 it worked good.

Hi!

Can you tell me, from which version can we use {instance-name} macro in discovery ?
