I have noticed that the alarm notifer has identified a number of alarms that do not appear in either the alarms viewer or console.  Specifially it shows that a number of nodes have dropped out late at night, but I assume that they have came back on-line not much later.

Are these not appearing in the console because the nodes have come back online?  If this is the case, is there a way to maintain these alarms so that I know that they have occured - such as a history of all alarms created against a node?

It's a smart piece of software BTW...

I temporary got this resolved by a restart on the telephone switch, but continue to get the following error when polling configuration.

General Support / Unable to get interface list from node?
December 12, 2009, 01:17:47 AM
I'm getting the following message when poll a avaya telecom switch.  I have multiple of these switches at the same software version, but I don't understand why one would return configuration information from a poll and other's wouldn't.  It appears that it cannot return information about interfaces on the switch.  Any ideas?

Unable to get interface list from node
Interface "lan0" is no longer exists

General Support / Re: Timeout of web login

I was actually thinking that might be the answer.
I have no small problem with this though.  Images against the alerts aren't showing.
It's as if the images are being linked to somewhere on the harddisk but the images
aren't available.

Where should these images be placed?

Thanks

General Support / Timeout of web login
December 01, 2009, 01:25:19 PM
Recently installed NetXMS and was wondering if there is a way to set the web interface to never timeout a login.  Had planned to show alerts on wall board, but wouldn't work very well if I had to login every day.  I notice that there is a setting within the .conf file for the web server, but what measurement is this and how high could it be set.

Many thanks
