We currently have the Zabbix system in production monitoring our infrastructure for a few years now.  We are currently looking at Netxms as an upgrade to our current system.  We have installed the windows version of Netxms for Dev Testing, and was looking to those that have a system in place and already familiar with Netxms, to donate a couple of templates to get us started in the conversion.

Templates needed...

Windows Server baseline monitoring
MSSQL baseline and services
MSExchange 2010 baseline and services

These template would certainly get us started in the right direction.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

General Support / Conversion from Zabbix to Netxms
July 21, 2014, 05:35:17 PM
We are currently using the Zabbix v2 system to monitor our infrastructure across an MPLS for 3 sites.  We have approximately 500 nodes that are being monitored and the system work pretty well and we have grown familiar with working with the system.

A couple of weeks ago a friend of a friend had turned us on to the Netxms monitoring system (windows version).  And so far we like what we have seen thus far.  My question is..

A.  For anyone that was using Zabbix Monitoring system previously, Is it your opinion worth the conversion process?

B.  Has anyone had experience converting the zabbix template and reports to be used for Netxms?

C.  Has anyone used commercial support in the initial setup of a production system for Netxms?  The reporting function is very important, and I am seeing some issue's with the report generation in the windows version.

Thanks in advance for any information you care to share...
