General Support / Re: Retrieve data FROM NetXMS
September 04, 2017, 10:20:54 AM
I don't know much about the API,

But I can with confidence say that grabbing the data straight from SQL works.

We have done so in the past, successfully grabbing entries from SQL to populate reports using our own reporting server.

General Support / Re: Show IP in dashboard

Working with dynamic public IP's I found it best to setup SNMP traps on the device in question.

I did the exact same setup on fortigate 80c that sends traps if the IP changed on the interfaces selected.

However it depends on SNMP on the device in question.

Good day

Is there a way i can compare the modified timestamp of a file against the system time.

DCI already configured. Just need to set the threshold if the file was not modified after 60 mins. And for this i need to compare the two times.

Hi Victor

It seems as if it was the agent on the node.

I moved DCI's to another node and it worked again.

I suspect it is something to do with the server node.

Hi There

After recent upgrades I found that the ServiceCheck.Custom parameter no longer works using Polling via agent.

Is there a new alternative to this?

Hi There

This is probably a easy one but i need help.

What is the easiest way to monitor the state of scheduled tasks on a Windows server?

I need to monitor if it ran successfully or not.

General Support / Re: View OID subtree in NetXMS??
September 28, 2016, 03:09:41 PM
Thanx This actually helped me a bit.

Now.  I have the values of the sub OID.

I could however only create one column because all sub OID's have the same OID number.

I now need to configure a threshold that activates when one of these values change. How do i do this in the thresholds tab?

I have attached screenshots.

General Support / View OID subtree in NetXMS??
September 28, 2016, 01:14:40 PM
Good day

Is there a way i can view the entire MIB subtree in netxms?  I want to display the subtree values in a dash or map.

I have OID: .1.3.6.1.2.1.4.20.1.1 with a  number of subtree OID's.

I just want to view the 'sub oid's' for the parent OID (Attached pic)

General Support / Re: DCI values storage path on Debian
September 01, 2016, 11:52:16 AM
Hi Alex

I just created node 1036. and 3 dci's:

DCI IDs's: 517, 534, 535.

But cant seem to find the table where values are stored.  I have been looking in all your tables described. I can only find the first dci's value in idata_1036.
But not the other 2 values.

Please assist.

What tables?

Or let me ask, what format of the tables containing the DCI's?

Yes I can extract to CSV one OID value.

I have 5 and want all of them in one file.

I think this where reporting comes into play perhaps?

Hi There

This does not extract the OID values, only descriptions, parameters, data type, retention and status.

I need all the values of the OID's polled.

Good day

I have multiple OID values of one node polling.  How can I display these values in one CSV file?

Is it possible?
