Sorry.  It was an upgrade to 2.2.1....

I just sent a link to the 2 dump files.  One is 25 MB and too big to mail.

There were a couple of interfaces that were orphaned, and one or two other errors.  After telling the nxdbmgr check command to fix the errors, all of the checks have PASSED....

OK.  Found the log file...

Server = 2012
DB = MySQL

I have run the nxdbmgr utility, and it initially found errors, but they were corrected and the NetXMS Core service will not start.  Any ideas?

Just checked the Event Viewer and there is an Event ID 7011 from the Service Control Manager: A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the NetXMSCore service.

Thanks,
Nick

General Support / Cannot clear node status...
June 27, 2017, 05:33:16 PM
Hello.  I recently upgraded to version Version 2.1-RC1 and find it to be pretty rock solid.  My problem is, I cannot reset the alarm status on any of the node icons.  The nodes that have the red X's or yellow & blue exclamation points all have no alarms for me to clear to reset the node status.  Is anyone else having this issue?  Is there a fix or a workaround?  Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

General Support / Change default view

Good afternoon,

Is it possible to change the default view on Nodes tab (under Object Details), to include the Serial Number of the devices?

Oh, OK.  Thanks for the quick response.  I love the product!

I have noticed recently that the last 20 nodes (or so) that I added to NetXMS do not have the default "Status" DCI...I have manually created the missing ones, but I would like it to be automated again in the future.  Any ideas?

OS - Windows Server 2012 R2
DB - MySQL 5.6
NetXMS Ver - 2.02/2.03....I attempted to upgrade awhile back and the NetXMSCore service wouldn't start, so I had to re-install the 2.02 version again to get it to work.

Thanks for the prompt response Alex.  I ran the command and it did fix 2 errors.  I re-ran the 2.0.2 installer earlier and got it back up and running.  Going to let it run for 24 hours and re-attempt upgrade tomorrow.

Hopefully this is what you were looking for.  I stripped out things like serial numbers and IP addresses, but marked those cells as modified.  Thanks for your help.

OK.  Got it.  On the Object Details tab it shows an OID of .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.1826.  When I performa MIB walk, it tops out at the "ciscoProducts" level (.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1).  How do I determine what MIB(s) I need in order to try to add it to the "netxms.mib" file?  I tried searching Cisco's site but it is B-R-U-T-A-L...almost as bad as HP's!  ;)

The driver now shows up correctly, but alas the Ports tab is empty.  Any other ideas?  Like I mentioned in my earlier post, these are new switches and I allowed the object to be updated in NetXMS, perhaps I should have deleted the objects and re-added them?
